How to Book: Individual Rooms vs. Entire Lodge
Welcome to Storm King Lodge! To give everyone the best booking options, we open our reservations in two phases based on how far in advance you are planning:
- More than 30 days in advance: The entire lodge is available to book exclusively for groups of up to 8 guests who want complete privacy.
- Within 30 days of arrival: If the entire lodge hasn't been reserved, individual rooms open up. Booking an individual room gives you a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom, while sharing our beautiful common areas—like the kitchen, library, veranda, and garden—with a few other guests.
Traveling with a Group of 3 to 8? (Within 30 Days)
If you are trying to book rooms for a larger party within the 30-day window, our system requires a quick trick to show true availability:
- Set your search filter to 1 or 2 guests (searching for 3 or more will automatically hide individual rooms).
- If enough separate rooms are available for your dates, you can easily book them individually to accommodate everyone. If all 4 rooms are available, booking them all makes the lodge exclusive to your group.
